4visionCare ("we," "us," or "our") operates a browser-native personal wellness platform available at 4vision.com. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
4visionCare is a personal wellness platform. We are not a medical device, do not provide medical advice, and do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Our services are designed to support informed personal wellness decisions in consultation with qualified healthcare providers.
Information We Collect
Data you provide directly
- Meal logs and food entries you type or speak into NutriLog
- Wellness goals and health interest selections
- Blood pressure readings entered manually or via Bluetooth device
- Account information (name, email) if you create a 4visionCare account
Data from connected devices and services
When you choose to connect your Fitbit device via Google Health API, we request read-only access to the following data types with your explicit authorization:

We request read-only access. We never write to your Google Health or Fitbit data store.
Electronic Health Record data (Epic FHIR)
If you choose to connect your health record via SMART on FHIR, we request read-only access to conditions, medications, and lab results to provide clinically-contextualized nutrition assessment. This connection requires your explicit authorization through your health system's MyChart portal.

- Session tokens (stored in browser cookies for authentication)
How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect exclusively to provide and improve the 4visionCare wellness platform. Specifically:
- Nutrition assessment: Your meal logs, Fitbit biometrics, and health record context are combined to generate personalized nutrition guidance through our multi-agent AI system (NutriLog)
- Longitudinal wellness modeling: Rhonda AI builds a personalized wellness picture over time by synthesizing your nutrition, biometric, and activity data across sessions
- GLP-1 companion support: If biometric signals suggest you may be on GLP-1 therapy (elevated resting heart rate, rapid weight loss, low activity), we provide targeted protein and muscle preservation guidance
- Platform improvement: Aggregated, de-identified usage patterns help us improve assessment accuracy
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers hosted in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- JWT token authentication for account access
- OAuth 2.0 authorization for all third-party data connections
- No storage of raw health device credentials — only OAuth access tokens
OAuth tokens for Google Health API connections are stored server-side and used only to retrieve your Fitbit data on your behalf. Tokens are automatically refreshed and can be revoked at any time through your Google account settings.
Data Sharing
We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Anthropic Claude API: Meal log text and anonymized nutrition context are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your assessment. Anthropic's Privacy Policy governs this processing. We do not send your name, email, or device data to Anthropic.
- USDA FoodData Central: Food search queries are matched against a local copy of the USDA database. No personal data is sent to USDA.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of 4visionCare or its users.
We never sell, rent, or share your personal health data with data brokers, advertisers, or other third parties for commercial purposes.
Your Rights and Choices
Disconnect Fitbit / Google Health
Click the Disconnect button in the Fitbit banner on any 4visionCare page. To fully revoke access, go to myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove 4visionCare.
Disconnect Epic / EHR
Revoke access through your health system's MyChart portal under Connected Apps.
Access your data
Email us at wilbert.jackson@4vision.com to request a copy of data we hold about you.
Delete your data
Email us to request deletion of your account and all associated data. We will complete deletion within 30 days and confirm by email.
Opt out of longitudinal modeling
You can use NutriLog as a single-session tool without enabling the Rhonda AI longitudinal model. Contact us to disable longitudinal data retention for your account.
Children's Privacy
4visionCare is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately at wilbert.jackson@4vision.com.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our platform evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users by email. Continued use of 4visionCare after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
